The short version: I collect what you type into the discovery form, use it to reply to you and scope your project, and nothing else. No tracking, no ads, no mailing lists.
Who I am
Robin Labs is an independent software studio run by Gaurav Singh, based in India. I am the person responsible for the data described here. Reach me at robin_dev@zohomail.in.
What I collect
When you send the discovery form, I receive:
- Your name and email address
- Your company name and industry
- The problem you describe, and your timeline and budget range if you give them
That is all. There is no account to create, and nothing is collected just because you browsed the site.
How I use it
Only to reply to your enquiry, understand your requirements, and prepare a proposal if we go ahead.
I do not sell it, rent it, share it for marketing, or add you to a newsletter. If you become a client, the data we exchange during the project is covered by our contract instead.
Where it goes
A few providers handle the data so the form works:
- Vercel hosts the website and processes the form request.
- A managed PostgreSQL database stores your enquiry so it is not lost.
- Resend delivers a copy of your enquiry to my inbox.
- Zoho Mail hosts that inbox, where any reply comes from.
Some of these providers store data outside India, including in the United States. Each processes it only to provide their service to me.
Cookies and analytics
The public site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. The only cookie is a sign-in cookie for my private admin area, which visitors never receive.
Like any web host, Vercel keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. The form also checks your IP address briefly in memory to block spam. It is not stored with your enquiry.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so I can pick up the conversation if you come back, then deleted. You can ask me to delete yours sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email robin_dev@zohomail.infrom the address you used, and I will act on it within 30 days. These rights apply under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and I extend the same to visitors from everywhere else.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. How the site uses your data is also covered by the Terms of Service.
